Last updated: July 22, 2026

At NeoHeberg, we place the utmost importance on protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you use our services, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and French law.

1. Data Controller

The data controller for your personal data is NeoHeberg, represented by Noah Luccin or Axel Lalaut. If you have any questions regarding your data, please contact us:

2. Data We Collect

Depending on how you use our services, we may collect the following categories of data:

  • Identification data: username, email address, password (encrypted), and first and last name, if provided.
  • Connection and traffic data: IP address, connection date and time, access logs, pages visited...
  • Information about your services: type of hosted servers (Web, VPS, NodeJS, or Python), configurations, allocated resources, and files stored in your storage spaces (you retain ownership of your content).
  • Economic data: history of your Coin transactions, amount of Coins earned/spent. The value of a Coin is set at €0.25, including tax.
  • Communication data: correspondence with our technical support team (tickets, emails).
  • Service deletion logs: identifiers, service type, expiration and deletion dates, operation status (retained for 1 year after deletion).
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see the dedicated section below.

3. Purposes of the Processing

We use your data for the following purposes:

  • Service Provision: Create and manage your account; set up your hosting services (VPS, Web, Node.js, Python); and provide technical support.
  • Platform improvements: Analyze service usage to optimize services and develop new features.
  • Communication: to notify you of important updates, incidents, or changes to our terms and conditions.
  • Legal Compliance: Meeting applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

The processing of your data is based on the following legal grounds: the performance of the contract (provision of services), your consent (for any marketing communications), our legitimate interest (improving the platform, security), and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Recipients of the data

Your data is intended exclusively for the NeoHeberg team (management, technical support). It is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

6. Transfers Outside the EU

All data is hosted on servers located in France. No personal data is transferred outside the European Union.

7. Shelf Life

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide the service. Account data is retained as long as your account is active. In the event of prolonged inactivity (more than 6 months), your account and associated data may be deleted. Login logs are retained for up to 3 months. Billing and transaction data are retained for 10 years (as required by law).

8. Logging of service deletions

When a service expires and must be deleted (either automatically or manually), NeoHeberg maintains an audit log containing the following information:

  • Your username, name, and email address
  • The type of service in question (game server, web hosting, VPS)
  • The name and technical identifier of the service
  • The theoretical expiration date and the actual deletion date
  • The status of the operation (successful or failed)

Purpose : This logging allows us to demonstrate our compliance with the principle of accountability (GDPR, Article 5(2)), to have evidence in the event of a dispute regarding the removal of a service, and to audit the proper functioning of our expiration management system.

Legal Basis : Legitimate interest (GDPR, Article 6(1)(f)): to ensure the traceability of critical operations on our hosting platform, to protect our rights in the event of a dispute, and to guarantee the integrity of our system.

Shelf Life : Deletion logs are retained for 1 year from the date the service is deleted, after which they are permanently deleted.

Recipients : This data is accessible only to NeoHeberg's technical administrators for the purpose of managing the platform. It is never shared with third parties.

Your Rights : In accordance with the GDPR, you may exercise your right of access (Article 15) to view the deletion logs pertaining to you. To do so, please contact us at [email protected] or through your customer account.

9. Safety

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction (encryption, firewalls, regular backups, access controls, etc.). However, no system is foolproof: we recommend that you protect your login credentials and report any potential security breaches to us.
