Backups and restore

Backups depend on the plan you choose. Each service page lists how many backups are included.

What is included

• Web hosting: automatic backups of files and database.
• App hosting: automatic backups depending on the plan.
• VPS: automatic backup is not included by default; export your data regularly.

What stays your responsibility

A provider-side backup does not replace your own copy. For an important project:

1. Export critical data (database, files) on a regular basis.
2. Store it somewhere other than the service itself.
3. Test a restore at least once.

Restore

From the dashboard, select the service, then the backup to restore. A restore overwrites the current state: export first if you are unsure.
