Verify your email address
A verified email address is the link between you and your account. It receives reset links, security alerts and invoices. Without it, a forgotten password becomes a lockout, and some plans, including the free VPS, cannot be activated. Verification is a functional step, not a formality.
Why verify
Verification proves you control the mailbox. It limits sign-ups with disposable addresses and ensures important messages reach somewhere. It does not replace 2FA: one proves the address, the other protects sign-in.
An unverified address can also block an order for a free service. If you create an account to test the platform, confirm the address first.
Run the procedure
- At sign-up, a message is sent to the address you entered.
- Open it and click the confirmation link.
- If nothing arrives, check spam or quarantine, then request a resend from the dashboard.
- If the link expired, request a new one: do not reuse the old one.
The link contains a personal token. Do not forward it or paste it into a Discord channel: anyone who opens it can confirm the address. A verification link is not something to share with support unless they explicitly ask.
The link does not work
| Symptom | Likely cause | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Link expired | Time limit passed | Request a new link |
| Error page | URL truncated by the mail client | Copy the full URL or resend |
| Already verified | Link already used | Sign in and check the status |
| Nothing received | Spam filter or typo | Check the address, allow the domain, resend |
If your work mailbox filters messages, allow the sending domain before requesting another link. Also check the address for a typo: a valid but wrong address will never receive anything.
Change address
Use an address you will control long term. If the dashboard allows changing it, verify the new one before removing the old one, then sign in again to confirm. If the procedure is unclear, contact support via the contact page without sending a password.
A compromised address must be replaced after changing the password and enabling 2FA. In that order: regain control of the account, then move notifications.
Verify
The dashboard should show the address as verified. Test recovery by requesting a reset link and confirming it arrives. If that test fails while the address is marked verified, the problem is probably a filter on the mailbox side, not the account.
Repeat this check after every address or mail provider change, and keep a backup address you can reach.
